We understand that being present for your pet’s final goodbye can be an important part of the healing process. For families who wish to attend, we offer several witness cremation options. These services are available in addition to the cremation service, which is determined by the weight of your pet.
Andrea and staff,
Many thanks again to you and your staff for the excellent service you rendered to our family at a most difficult time as we made arrangements for our beloved Shae.
Your caring and compassion are greatly appreciated.
Some time after the passing of my sister, my younger son had brought a kitten home to be a friend to his older cat, Spike. This arrangement didn’t work out very well for the kitten because Spike decided that he didn’t like him. Perhaps, he thought this youngster is moving in on my territory, who knows with cats , Only cats know for sure.
This was a Blessing for me , I called the sweet little kitty and he turned around in the hall , saw me and came running so fast and jumped up onto my bed where I was. I had been in mourning over the loss of my sister and this baby cheered me up right away. I rubbed his baby kitty belly and he automatically became my baby. I grew to love him dearly and he was very precious to me. I spoiled him with his favorite foods, treats, and toys. I played with him, held him, gave him kisses and told him that I loved him to the Moon and back. He was very intelligent and knew that he could come to me and his own way would ask for a belly rub when he had difficulty going poop or was feeling nervous and anxious and he would feel relaxed. I think that I have had him since about 2011 which would have made him about 12 or 13 years old. He was always in good health; however, I was noticing different developments occurring with him that made me wonder but I thought that they were just minor things that would soon clear up when I changed his water or food . When I thought about it later, I felt really bad with myself as though I was a bad “ cat mom” . I noticed the way he would chew his dry food and thought that it was a little odd, maybe because I had not noticed him eat that way before. It never crossed my mind that he might have a dental problem. I never found baby teeth on the floor so I thought that he had not lost any yet for his adult teeth to grow out. It was probably the opposite though. All of the health issues he started experiencing were happening so fast that I thought it was unusual and too fast. My son never suggested that I take him to a vet and I would check in my “ cat and dog” book written by a vet and thought that he would be okay. He wasn’t. I thought that he had been scratched by my sons new feline , a female cat, because he had an area on his cheek that was swelling. I began to give him vitamin C , as recommended by the Vet in the book and thought that I would look for a Vet anyway. This is as when I wished that I had done it sooner. I told him that he should hold on if possible and mommas got an appointment with a vet for him but my baby kitty didn’t make it. Before he had departed this existence he was telling everyone and everything in my house that he was going. He even told me and I had a “ Love talk “ with him. The night before he departed, he was laying on my bed beside me sleeping peacefully. I turned over towards him and kept a watchful eye on him until I fell into slumber. He stirred lightly and I noticed that he had strength enough to move closer towards me and he put his little arm on mine as if to say that everything is going to be alright. The next morning I woke up to hear him groaning that he was going. His feet were under a pillow and I felt them. They were icy cold and I held them in my hand to try and warm them up a little. He yelled out his final “ GO” , took his last breath and as he exhaled his body relaxed with his Spiritual release and letting go . We had to cancel his appointment with the Vet and I decided to call the “ Caring Pet Crematory “ for my precious kitty ‘s cremation. When my sons first cat, Spike had departed, he checked and found them. He enlisted my help to take him there for the last service for his cat. When my older sons girlfriend ‘s pet departed, he inquired of me where we had taken Spike. I provided the information and they utilized their Caring Service for her pet “ Lucy” . Now that my precious kitty had departed, I thought that they had provided sensitive , thoughtful, and caring attention for our family and extended family members pets that I called them and inquired as to when I would be able to bring him in.
I thank everyone at the Caring Pet Crematory for their excellent sensitivity and Service to us and for our pets . My GOD bless their precious animal spirits and grant them entrance into our Heavenly Kingdom while they await our arrival so that we can reunite again. 👍👍🙏💜✨✝️
Thank you to the wonderful staff and most especially Olivia. You helped ease the loss of Tulip, reassure my broken heart and soothe my anxiety. I appreciated your calm, kind and empathic professionalism more than I can express. You have my eternal gratitude.
When we knew it was time to put our sweet 12 year old lab down, Craig jumped in and provided everything we needed. Referred us to an amazing organization that came to our home the next day to help us say goodbye and provide our loving pup a warm and respectful goodbye. Craig went so far as to making sure that he and the Dr. stayed in communication so that Caring Pet arrived to pick our boy up after in a timely manner, giving us enough time with our boy. The sincerity by which Craig offered a sweet memento to our teenage son was priceless. Our son could not believe that someone thought of this for him and has not stopped wearing this since the day we said goodbye.
A true cherished pet will always be in your memories, however the final hours spent and the respect given to our pets after they pass will help to ensure their great memories are the ones we keep. Caring Pet and Craig will always be a part of our memory now too. Thank you Craig.
Thank you, Craig and Andrea, for your kind and thoughtful service today! My precious 4-legged family member got a very dignified witness cremation service, every bit like I wanted it to be!
I highly recommend the Sacramento location!
I am so grateful for the service Caring Pet provided for our bearded dragon Giddy Mae. The clay paw print was done perfectly and we will cherish it forever. Very professional service and she was returned to us with such care. Highly recommend to anyone who has lost a pet.
My beloved cat Murchik the rescued cat from the streets of Ukraine who was with us almost 19 years was not just a cat. He was a family member, my sweet baby boy with a very nice and calm personality. He will always have a special place in my heart. Thank you Caring Pet for your high level of professionalism, for your compasion and for taking a good care of my boy.

my sweet dog Daisy at almost 15 years old passed on Sept . 1st 2020 i was devastated and I didn't know who to call or what to do. I called her vet and hey wanted too much money. But then I called caring pets crematory. They we nice polite and i took her in that same day. Saying good bye one last time was hard but the staff was kind and patient. I will definitely recommend this place to friends and family. R.I.P DAISY DOG.❤💔
I have had 3 of my kitties 18, 21 and most recently 7 year old cremated by caring pets. I have been very happy with the services they have provided. This time I got a paw print with leather picture case. Was quite disappointed as you can't really see the print very well, and there is no retakes. I would recommend them but think twice about a paw print
Thank you so much for taking care of my dear feline sweetpea, Mysti. Losing her last night hurts deeply, it's nice that you helped make the cremation so easy. I needed that today.
The process of losing our baby girl Angel, a 15 year old, rescued pitbull, has been both horrendous & devastating. Yet I am so grateful for the handful of companies who made it more than bearable.... Caring Pet Crematory was one of those companies 1) This box is exactly what I would have hand-picked for her myself and the sight of it took my breath away.... ❤️ 2) It even matches the decor in our bedroom where she’s gonna sleep as long as we do ❤️❤️ Sleep well baby girl. Mommy already misses you so much.
On the most difficult day of the passing of our beloved cat "Baby", Craig, the owner, came in to Caring Pet and met us to personally to take care of him. I don't know what I would have done had it not been for Craig. He is the utmost professional. I highly, highly, highly recommend Caring Pet. I wouldn't have taken Baby anywhere else.
A week ago my 12 year old Irish Setter had a heart attack while running in the field. I was devastated and had to carry her home. Bella was my shadow, fishing buddy and the sweetest girl. I had a serious head injury 3 years ago and after 10 days I was released from the hospital - she knew I was injured and was even more attentive and caring. Thank you, Alex for your help in this tough time.
Bobbie was a mommy little brothers side kick. His best friend, better yet more like a son to him. It allowed him to put aside his selsfish ways and care for his best friend. My brother Chris suffers from depression, anger and abandonment. Bobbie was an aid to his everyday struggles. He allowed him to breathe and be comforted by his presence as a companion. Always there besides him. Loyal and loving. So when he saw a car run over his best friend it broke him. Bobbie didn't know where Chris was going and as they crossed the street he wondered off and Chris yelled at him but it was too late. In a blink of an eye someone could not. Stop in time and took his best friend. The heartbreaking moment of picking him up and not feeling his heart beat nor breath was the worst. A dog is more than a pet, it's family! There are no words to describe how much a dog bonds with you. Especially when he is needed to help calm someone's frustrations and issues. When I got the call and I can hear my brothers pain I did the best I could do in my position. I have three kids and am married living away from my family and my brother doesn't have anyone that will support him as much as I do. So I called everywhere, I didn't have any money nor did he. What's there to do. Pour my heart and soul in hopes someone helps. I finally can across Caring Pets crematory, Alex heard me out and gave me a huge discount. Even the discount was something we couldn't afford but we looked high and low for someone to help. I would call Alex back if we found a way. A way was made by word that we needed help. My friend posted on Facebook our story and Lori, was one of the most giving souls I have ever met. We didn't know each other not to mention she is in Arizona and us in California. She said, let me take care of the whole bill. Called Alex and paid and we were able to give him Bobbie. Within a few days we received his ashes and were treated with so much love and peace. This place not only is clean, the energy is peaceful. Alex was wonderful but I do have to say Snoopy, his miniature schnauzer was more than comforting! I wanted to take him home but he has a job to do and he is an angel. Thank you so much Alex and Snoopy for everything. My brother is more than comforted by having his best friend at home. The memories live and we know he is in a better place. May God bless this business and the people like Alex and Lori for being great human beings lovers of pets. Much love from my brother and I. Thank you!
